DABYTE · WORK WITH US

What DABYTE sells, what it will not sell, and what it costs

Answer. DABYTE is published by VECTORY, which sells three things around this index: a one-off visibility snapshot from $499, ongoing monitoring from $1,500 per month, and programmatic access to the full measurement history from $200 per month. It does not sell placement, ranking, or inclusion: no brand can pay to appear in the index, to move inside it, or to be left out of it. The current measurement stays free for everyone under CC BY 4.0.

The firewall, stated before the prices

Everything on this site is worth exactly as much as the belief that it cannot be bought. So the rule is absolute and it is easier to check than to trust: paid work never touches a published score. Scores come from a fixed panel run against live engines; a client and a non-client are measured by identical code, and the machine copy of the dataset carries an is_client flag on every record so you can verify that for yourself rather than take our word for it.

Concretely, these are the things we will turn down: paying to be added to the index, paying to be removed from it, paying to change a number, paying to change the wording around a number, and paying for a comparison to come out a particular way. There is no price for any of them and there is no version of the offer where there is.

The three things we do sell

All three are measurement work. That is deliberate: the output of a measurement does not depend on whether the buyer likes it, which is what keeps this list compatible with the firewall above.

Visibility snapshot from $499 one-off

A measurement of one brand run the same way the index is run: a fixed panel of category buyer prompts, every engine we cover, share of answer per engine. You get the raw per-prompt data, the list of domains the engines cited instead of you, and three specific things to change.

Who it is for. You want to know where you stand before committing to anything.

It is not a placement, and running it cannot move you in the public index.

Monitoring from $1,500 per month

The same measurement repeated on a fixed cadence, with the delta against every previous run, alerts when a competitor takes a slot you held, and a private history you can hand to a board. Panels can be yours rather than ours.

Who it is for. You are already acting on AI visibility and need to know whether it worked.

Movement here is whatever the engines return. We do not guarantee a direction.

Data access from $200 per month

Programmatic access to the full measurement history behind this site: every snapshot, every delta, bulk export, and a webhook when a new measurement lands. The current snapshot stays free and open to everyone under CC BY 4.0 — this covers the series, the alerts and the support.

Who it is for. You are an agency or a tool and want the series, not one page.

Paying for access does not change what the data says about you.

Prices are starting points, not quotes. What moves them is the size of the prompt panel, how many engines and languages you need, and whether the panel is ours or yours. Ask and you get a number, not a discovery call.

How this works if you just want the free version

Most people should start here and may never need anything else. The full current measurement is public: look your brand up, read how it is measured, and take the data with you — /api/aiv.json, /aiv.csv, /index.md, all CC BY 4.0, no key and no sign-up. If your brand is in the index and something looks wrong, write to us and we will re-run the panel; a correction is not a purchase.
